Pierfrancesco Favino: "Once happened quite the same to me"
Pierfrancesco Favino, one of the most famous Italian actor, says he once lived the same experience of the film while he was
working on a movie. In this interview he reveals his experience as an actor, a career that saw him work with directors such as Giuseppe Tornatore, Andrew Adamnson, Spike Lee, Gabriele Muccino and Ron Howard. He also talks about what being Italian means to him.
Pierfrancesco Favino is a multiple award winning Italian actor and voice artist from Rome and one of the founders of Rome's Actor's Center.
Throughout his career he has appeared in 35 films and television series since the early 1990s, working with internationally acclaimed directors such as Giuseppe Tornatore, Andrew Adamnson, Spike Lee, Gabriele Muccino and Ron Howard. In 2006 and 2012 Favino received the David di Donatello award for best supporting actor for his roles in the films Romanzo Criminale and Romanzo di una Strage.
According to a survey by Ciak magazine he was voted "most loved actor" of 2012.
