Debuting in 1987, Jovanotti was Italy's first rapper and remains one of it's biggest stars. Having sold over five-million records, one out of ten citizens there owns his music and he routinely sells out soccer-stadiums across the land.
Hailed by his countrymen as "the poet of our time", he performed for a half-million people on this summer's stadium tour.
