Sportster Peanut tank on softail - ep 29 part 1 eng - Roma Custom Bike
We are finally back and in this episode we'll explore how to prepare and modify a Sportster (or frisco, wassell, peanut) gas
tank to fit on a Softail Harley Davidson motorcycle.
In this first part we'll cut the sportster tank open and begin the adaptation so that it can be installed on a softail model.
Then we begin the manufacturing of the new tunnel.
In the second part (COMING SOON) we will install the tunnel, weld it, powder coat it, we'll coat the inside of the tank with a fuel resistant liner, we'll do pressure tests to make sure there are no leaks and proceed with test driving the bike!
